When it comes time to sell your home, lots of questions will naturally come to mind. Generally the first is, "What is my home worth?" Frequently Agents respond with a range - developed either from a "seat of the pants estimate" or from a "Competitive Market Analysis (CMA)". Sometimes a buyer requests a professional appraisal. In this case, an appraiser develops a specific valuation. Unfortunately, the real answer to the question is, "How much will someone pay?" To put it into real estate legalese, "How much will a ready, willing and able buyer offer?"
